    The award-winning product is a set of Quick Learning Automatic Spraying System for Jeans, an innovative robot solution for surface treatment of apparel manufacturing industry
Quick Learning:
    The whole system consists of  a set of robot quick learning system specially developed for spraying operators, who only needs to hold a specially made dummy spray gun and perform the spraying as he used to perform. The kit will then capture the motion of the operator's hand. To be more specific, the trajectory motion of the spray gun and the spraying parameters will be recorded via different sensors attached to the spray gun. A software interface will be developed allowing the operator to review and modify the spraying profile before outputting to an automatic spraying system.
Enhance Productivity and Flexibility:
    The whole system uses a 6-axis manipulator and a program controlled spray gun to reproduce the trajectory motions as performed by human hands, and enhance quality and productivity. The system can spray resin, paint and various chemical solutions, creating artistic patterns and colorful  effect on jeans, with special visual ornamentation  such as metal color, shininess, imitation leather, etc. The system also includes innovative function for imitating handmade effect.
Environmental Protection:
    The system adopts enclosed cabinet and water curtain to effectively isolate the particles generated in spraying, as a result, it has reduced pollution and potential harm to operator’s health.  
    In summary, by means of this system, garment manufacturers can make special sprayed jeans efficiently and steadily, and don’t need to recruit a lot of workers and also save the cost for subsequent long-time training.
Domestic and Overseas Development and Trend:
    Most similar product produced in China does not feature a 6-axis manipulator to reproduce the trajectory motions in manual production.
    Although there are some well-developed systems from overseas company, the price is exceptionally high (over HKD 3000K). An enormous gap exists in the selling price of the overseas machine and the locally developed one (less than HKD1000K). Therefore, overseas suppliers generally target for high-end market with remarkable high labor cost such as in Europe, the US, etc. The Return of Investment (ROI) period is one of the most concerned factor. Considering the high salary rate in US or Europe, although their system is costly, the ROI period is acceptable. Comparatively, the ROI becomes unacceptable to local garment manufactures. They cannot afford these overseas machines. It is definitely an attractive advantage for the end user to consider the low-cost system provided by local suppliers.
